SMM Film Festival “Drop”

Promoting the event in social networks is one of the best methods. It will increase its awareness and help to sell more tickets. But to do this correctly, you need to contact professionals!

 

In article we will tell you how we promoted the film festival “Drop” in the social networks Vkontakte, Facebook and Instagram and what results we managed to achieve.

 

About customer

 

The film festival “Drop” is a holiday for fans of horror and action films. In Moscow, the festival has been attended by stars of world and Russian cinema for ten years in a row. Every year, many Hollywood stars come to the festival.

 

The project was created on the initiative of Viktor Bulankin, President of Live Entertainment.

 

The festival has a rich program:

 
  • 1. A film festival (classic and new films).
  • 2. Master-classes with celebrities, exhibitions and competitions.
 

The main event of festival is the award ceremony for outstanding creators and actors:

 
  • 1) the best films for the last year are selected by a general vote;
  • 2) beginners among directors and producers are awarded with prize “hope for salvation”;
  • 3) world stars of “horror” claim the award “for contribution to the development of the genre”.
 

Winners receive cash prizes and diplomas, and the best works get the right to rent on television.

Purpose and objectives

 

The goal of the promotion was to increase the number of sold tickets for the festival.

 

To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set:

 
  • 1. Development of a unique design for three communities in social networks.
  • 2. Setting up user-friendly navigation for users in groups.
  • 3. Informing the audience about the festival program, how to buy tickets, changes in the program, etc.
  • 4. Regular communication with users.
 

All steps were aimed at increasing awareness among the target audience and its interest in participating in the festival program.

 

Relization

 

As platforms for promotion, communities in Facebook, VKontakte and Instagram were chosen, because there are target audience – people who are interested in movies and TV series and have the opportunity to visit festival in Moscow.

 

For each community the work was carried out in several stages.

 

First of all was developed the unique design: creation of covers and logos for groups in Social Media and menu in VKontakte, because only beautiful and well-designed communities attract attention of users and allow to stand out among the competitors.

Then the widgets were set up and information about festival in the groups was updated. Thanks to it, a convenient and easy navigation in the communities was created, and potential festival visitors could quickly find out the information they need.

 

In process of creating a unified design, our content managers were engaged in developing a content strategy, drawing up a content plan (20 posts per month) and selecting tone of voice.

Since the beginning of group management, the strategy has been adjusted to take into account the latest trends in SMM and situation in the world.

 

To increase activity of subscribers, surveys were conducted, and all comments, messages, and incoming requests were processed.

 

The complex of works carried out by us allowed the organizers to achieve the main goal, but more about it below.

 

Results

 

In process of SMM, we managed to achieve excellent results!

 

In Facebook, increase in subscribers was 35%, and the number of likes, reposts and comments increased by 270%! In Instagram, the audience growth was 40%.

 

Growth of subscribers in Vkontakte – 122%! In numbers, this is more than 8 thousand people and the same number of views per month.

 

66 people clicked to the site from community, and 69 clicked the action button (“Buy a ticket” or “Join a group”). The group’s app was used by 262 subscribers.

In February, the number of unique visitors was 2,818, and views reached 4,531 thousand. The full coverage for month was 92,331 views.

 

The result of all this was a significant increase in number of tickets sold! Only in Vkontakte more than 26 applications were sent!

 

Conclusion

 

We achieved excellent results in promoting film festival “Drop”. We managed to increase number of tickets sold, subscribers and activity in form of comments, likes and reposts. The client was satisfied with effectiveness of the advertising campaign.

Festive opening of cosmetics store “Ulybka radugi” in Perm

Conducting master classes on make-up 2. Festive decoration of shop windows and facade 3. Recruitment and training of promotional personnel   Next, we will tell you in detail about the preparation of festive event to the opening.   Realization   First of all, we needed to prepare the point for the reception of the first buyers. In order to attract people’s attention, we decorated the entrance along the perimeter with balloons in the color of the “Rainbow Smiles” logo. Bright balls of all seven colors of the rainbow became a great addition to the interior and created a festive mood.   We have trained promo models. From April 22 to 24, the girls announced the event and distributed advertising leaflets in the hall of the shopping center. Premium product market in Russia

Economic crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic affected the business in Russia. But today the market is coming back to life. The revival is modest, but noticeable, and it will continue to grow. Moreover, 85% of experts expect the luxury market to grow in the next three years.   In Russia, as nowhere else, the premium class is such a specific category that this very concept is interpreted somewhat differently here than in Europe, where it came from. Why?   Firstly, the historical development of our country, which has been behind the “Iron Curtain” for a long time, played a big role. Secondly, the mentality of the Russian person forms a kind of perception of the premium class.   Despite the fact that the level of general well-being of the population is noticeably increasing, in Russia the stratum of well-off people makes up a fairly small percentage of the total population of the country. And those who make up this small percentage are different from rich people in other countries.   What is the luxury market in Russia   When we say “premium”, of course, we mean success, well-being, quality. Taking into account this connotation, a program for promoting premium brands is being formed. But for the Russian consumer, such an aspect as the recognition of premium is also important to emphasize their solvency in a certain environment.   And if the mass market segment is quite simple to model, then everything is different in the premium category. It, in turn, is divided into narrower ones. The affordable segment of the premium class market includes perfumes branded by well-known haute couture companies, alcohol, pret-a-porter clothing. In terms of the use of marketing and commercial promotion models, this segment is similar to the mass market.   But there is still a premium segment of the market that is inaccessible to a wide category of the population — this is exclusive real estate, author’s jewelry, antiques, means of transportation (cars, yachts, air transport, etc.). However, in addition to the high price, the premium brand should be radically different from others visually and in quality.
