Project goals and objectives
The goal of the project was to organize a turnkey gaming tournament. The implementation of the goal included the following points:

About the customer
« World of Tanks « is a popular free online game in the genre of » tank battles », created by Wargaming. It has won over 110 million gamers in all countries of the world, including Russia. In our country, 40 million people play « tanks ».

The customer contacted Clever marketing in summer of 2015 with the task of organizing a competition for the game. Marketers readily accepted the offer and took up the project.
Implementation
The work was carried out simultaneously in three areas: technical equipment, staff training, and script writing.
Technical equipment
The site was branded and divided into zones according to specific entertainment goals.
In the first game zone, guests fought a « Tank battle » with the help of radio-controlled tanks, in the second-played a « Board game » based on « World of Tanks ». The participants also took a photo for memory in the Express photo zone, and tried out the Oculus rift virtual reality attraction.
Staff
In parallel with the design of the premises, specialists were looking for promo staff: presenters, animators, managers, etc. After people were recruited, a briefing was held with a story about the goals of the event and distribution of the plan to each employee.
Scenario
A competent scenario with an accurate time distribution allowed the tournament to be held without hitches and difficulties. The customer participated in the writing process, and their edits and comments were immediately added to the document.
The result was a well-thought-out plan, including both competitions and additional activities: performances of the martial arts school, dance numbers of go-go girls, a pixel show and a scientific show with chemical experiments « Crazy laboratory ».
Competent preparation and constant control over the course of the event allowed us to get excellent results.
Results
The competition brought together under one roof more than a thousand people who are not indifferent to computer games. Among them were amateurs, professional gamers and fans. The winners received sets of valuable prizes, and the participants received a lot of positive emotions and impressions.
The organizer was satisfied with the quality of the work, including technical details that did not go unnoticed by the team of CLEVER marketing.
